Hello!

Welcome to my blog, Living for the Dayse!  As a wife, mother and business woman, I sometimes feel like life is a bit of a whirlwind.  But with the ups and downs of life, it is Family that lies at the heart of who we are.  Here, I will share some of the good, the bad and all the in-between, while embracing my inner strengths on this journey through life.

Easter Egg Roll Spoons

Easter Egg Roll Spoons

These spoons were very easy to make and super cute!  You will need:

18 inch handle wooden spoons

Martha Stewart Vintage Decor Paint (Matte Chalk Finish) in Wedding Cake

Ribbon of your choice

Sharpie Markers in color(s) of your choice

First, I took the wooden spoons and painted them white.  This took two days because I wanted to make sure not to smear the paint.  I painted the back of the spoons the first day and the front the second day, because I had to lay them down to dry.  Once the paint was dry, I tied the Easter ribbon around the handles.  Lastly, my sister wrote the name of each child on a spoon with a Sharpie. ( I love sharpies and don't think you can ever have enough! I keep tons of sharpies in a variety of colors in a Lazy Susan Organizer on my desk.)

And its just that simple!   Happy Crafting!

Signing Off,

Mommy Dayse
